A client who does not have a bank card (Visa / Master / AmEx) or does not have enough funds for a deposit, or does not want his funds to be blocked in the amount of the deposit, can choose this option, "no deposit" with the added cost of Cardoo's guarantee.
On behalf of the client, the Cardoo company guarantees the amount of the deposit for the rented vehicle, specified in the vehicle rental agreement. The amount of the deposit depends on the car category.
The fee for the Cardoo service depends on the vehicle category and the number of rental days, it is calculated as a percentage according to the amount of the deposit.
The Cardoo company is a guarantor that upon returning the vehicle, the client will pay any newly incurred costs during the vehicle rental, meaning those costs that would be charged from the deposit - blocked of funds on the bank card (parking fines, communal fines, fines issued by the Ministry of traffic, new damages to the vehicle, including the interior of the vehicle, documents, licence plates, tires, windows, loss of keys, lack of fuel in the tank when returning the vehicle). If the client agrees to pay a share of the damage / mentioned costs, ZIM rent-a-car does not forward customer data to Cardoo. If the client refuses to pay damage or participation in damage cost, up to the maximum amount of the deposit for damage to the vehicle and any fines issued, ZIM rent-a-car forwards the client's data to Cardoo, which pays the damage cost for him and continues to charge him for the same. Only in case the client refuses to pay for verified damages and / or Traffic and parking fines, only in that case the collection procedure will be initiated through the company Cardoo.
Before concluding the contract, the client will be provided with a Cardoo company form for review and signature with a detailed description of their role as guarantor in favor of the lessor, with the client's approval for the transfer of Personal Data, in case the client does not pay the debt based on the Lease Agreement.
The Cardoo company processes data for the purpose of concluding and executing vehicle rental contracts, which is a legal basis according to Article 12 paragraph 1 point 2 of the Personal Protection Act.
